Since October 3, the national air company “Belavia” offers to its passengers the service of seats pre-selection in the plane. Like all carriers, you have to pay for choosing a seat. It is worth noting that the service is available during and after the purchase of a ticket on the official website. However, it is worth mentioning that the option of free choice still work. 24 hours before take-off, passengers will still be given the opportunity to choose their favorite seat. Another thing, if a seat you like is occupied by a person who was not sorry to pay you can’t reserve it.
For now this service works in test mode on regular flights to Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Ashgabat, Baku, Barcelona, Batumi, Yerevan, Geneva, Larnaca, London, Paris, Tbilisi in the forward and backward directions.
Soon, the service will work on all flights and all passengers. The cost of a seat selection varies from 5 to 30 euros (depending on the location in the cabin). At the same time, for Belavia Leader Gold Level participants and business class passengers, the service is free.
How much does it cost to choose a place?
Here are some examples of prices. For 5 euros, you can choose a standard seat in the economy class. For 10 euros – front of cabin seat. 15 euros cost exit row seat, there is more legroom. For those who want to sit in the front row immediately after the business class the price is 20 euros. Extra leg room seat in a business class – 30 euros. But business class meals in this case are not provided.
Do not forget, it will not be possible to choose a place less than 24 hours left before departure. After that, the remaining places will be available for free booking in case of online registration.
The Belavia press service noted that the pre-selection service was introduced as a part of the implementation a gradual price decreasing. This will allow to offer passengers lower tariffs due to the different set of services provided. Also, do not forget about the new baggage rules on Belavia flights
