Lufthansa Airlines opens a flight from Minsk to Munich and increases the frequency of flights from Minsk to Frankfurt.
Thus, starting April 4, 2020, a new weekly flight from Minsk to Munich (LH2541) will be launched. It will be performed on Saturdays with departure from Minsk at 18:55 and arrival in the capital of Bavaria at 20:15 local time. On the route, Embraer ERJ-190 is planned for 100 seats in business and economy classes.
Lufthansa aircraft used to fly between Minsk and Frankfurt. However, now, in the current winter period 2019/2020, the frequency of flights to Frankfurt will increase . So passengers will be offered two additional flights per day and a total of up to 11 flights per week to Frankfurt – the main transit hub of the German airline. And in the summer of 2020, the number of existing daily flights to Frankfurt will increase to two per day.
Prices for a new flight have not yet been announced. To make it clear, recently the direction to Munich was opened by Belavia. It costs 256 euros round-trip. We must understand that the price tag of the Germans will be approximately the same.
This is great news for travelers who want to visit Minsk all over the world. Lufthansa is part of the Star Alliance and has an enviable route network consisting of 199 destinations in 74 countries. Also, Frankfurt Airport is the only five-star in Europe to fly from which you can more or less anywhere. Moreover, Lufthansa Group includes Swiss Air and Austrian Air.
