From June 9, Finnair launches a direct flight from Helsinki to Minsk, opening a “Short Northern Route” to Asia.
A new all-the-year-round route will connect the capital of Belarus with the Asian, European and North American directions of the airline, Finnair said. Direct flight Helsinki-Minsk starts on June 9, 2018 and will be performed twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
At present, Finnair also cooperates with Belavia on this route. Flights performing twice a week on Monday and Friday. Flights from Minsk depart at 15:15 with arrival in Helsinki at 15:35. From Helsinki – at 16:15 with arrival in Minsk at 18:35. The total travel time is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Two new own flights will increase the total number of flights between two capitals to four per week.
– The new direction of Finnair will be serviced by 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft in a two-class configuration, so that passengers who prefer to travel with comfort will be able to appreciate all the benefits of the airline’s business-class service, – the Finnair said.

Flights from Helsinki will depart at 9:45 with arrival in Minsk at 11:00. From Minsk – at 11:45 with arrival in Helsinki at 13:00. The total travel time will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. The cost of the ticket Minsk – Helsinki – Minsk will be from 189 euros.
